How many toys can one child have?!?

My daughter has way too many toys, but the moment I try to pack some up she decides she wants to play with them again...
I couldn't find any cute toy boxes, I could barely even find a toy box period. I would go to the stores and they would either have none in stock, or else they only had those plain plastic ones with either a pink or blue lid. Pretty generic, and as if the lack of creativity wasn't enough, these plain jane toy boxes cost almost $50.00!!
I had to do something though, I couldn't keep piling her toys in the corner. So decided to just use a laundry basket. I had a ton of ribbon my sister gave me that she had left over from the diaper cake she made for my baby shower. So I decided to weave the ribbon in and out of the holes to give it a girly little flare.
It was (at the time) the perfect size for her toys, and the ribbon made it absolutely adorable!
She is now almost 2 and has even more toys. I have managed to pack away a lot of her smaller, more 'baby-ish' toys. But with every holiday, and trip to the grandparents houses' she seems to accumulate more toys.

For her birthday last year my mom bought her that adorable bench you see in the picture. And, one of the best parts, the seat lifts up and there is storage inside! Meaning she has a hidden toy box in her room. Plus she still has my makeshift toy box in the living room.
Now all of her toys don't fit in both toy boxes, meaning next nap time, I'm packing up more of her toys and hiding them away. At least until our basement is finished, then she will have her own play area with more storage.
